Welcome to the official Dubai Google Technology User Group (Dubai-GTUG). Dubai-GTUG is a Dubai-based non-profit developers group to learn, share and know more about Google technologies. The group was started by a group of Google fans and enthusiasts who are interested in using Google's evolving technologies and APIs. Dubai-GTUG aim is to be a platform for sharing knowledge and experience, and to enrich the region with new ideas and innovation.
The membership is open to newbies, developers, managers and organizations who are interested in Google's technologies or use them as part of their projects.

technology and the content from this group is entirely independent from

App Engine Hackathon!! Dubai GTUG was proud to host David Renie and Adam Mathias from Google-California who kindly agreed to guide us through an App engine hackathon where we saw how App engine can be a reliable back-end solution for web development. Around 90 developers enjoyed the event, and we had Abdullah from Kuwait who was the first winner in the Hackathon!
